A vibrant condiment, both fruity and spicy, which plays on the freshness of lime, the sweetness of mango and a controlled hint of chili.

The Succulent Spirit

The chili peppers used in the sauce are grown in the Valle del Cauca, in southwest Colombia, between two Andean mountain ranges and bathed in sunshine. The sauces are then processed in a local workshop, using fermented chili peppers, to reveal all their aromatic notes. In this sauce, we take full advantage of the cayenne pepper, with its smoky and slightly more acidic flavor than other sauces, which brings a unique depth to each bite.

Recipe: The Perfect Bite

A simple and refined creation, to be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an appetizer.

Ingredients (for 6 bites)

  • 1 firm green mango
  • 1 lime
  • A few drops of Feroz La Succulente sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa nibs (roasted bean nibs)
  • Flower of salt
  • Fresh coriander leaves (optional)

Preparation

  1. Peel the green mango and cut it into small, regular cubes (about 1.5 cm).
  2. Sprinkle with a dash of lime juice to prevent oxidation and add freshness.
  3. Arrange the cubes on a serving plate.
  4. Add one to two drops of Feroz “La Succulente” sauce to each piece.
  5. Sprinkle with cocoa nibs and a pinch of fleur de sel.
  6. Finish with a coriander leaf for a vegetal touch.

The result: a bite where the fruitiness of the green mango balances with the slight warmth of La Succulente and the bitter crunch of the cocoa nibs. An unexpected, delicate, and vibrant combination—exactly what La Cooperativa loves to share.
